The hydraulic Mains Water Divert is an ideal way to save water by combining mains water with tank water collected from the roof. There are no electronics involved with switching from mains to tank water, just simple reliable water pressure. The SJ Stainless Jet pump with its air purging ability combined with the air bleed valve enable the pump to regain prime when switching from mains water cycle to pump cycle. The MP Stainless steel multistage pump produces extra pressure and flow for larger installations. An air bleed port in the casing makes it easy to install and has a compact design. The air bleed valve assists the pump to regain prime quickly. When water in the storage tank is empty, the pump loses prime and the pressure reducing valve allows mains water to supply the house. In the mains water cycle – air is present in the suction pipe and part of the discharge pipe. Without an air bleed valve it is difficult for the pump to purge this air as the mains water is blocking any escape.
